Chain Slack and stretch is relatively normal on a new machine/new chain & sprockets. That said I’ve not yet heard of anyone breaking a sprocket tooth on these bikes specifically. I’d chalk it up as a fluke.
I’ll have to look at mine again but I thought there was foam in the lid of the fuse box with cutouts to keep those things in place. I could be misremembering.
They do have resistors now. They don’t do low-glow while running, but do low-glow after bike is off for like 1 min 30 then they turn off completely. Only on the rears. I’ve been happy with them that behavior not withstanding.
This is the one I got. They do ship to Europe by the looks of it. Don’t expect anything crazy, it just makes the shifts feel a tad “clicky” which is nice. Takes up some of the slack in the shifter causing fewer missed shifts/false neutral if you have that issue. Cheap easy five minute mod...
I have aftermarket bars (Rizoma MA006). The dealer did the install of the mirrors during the rebuild after my accident. I believe the barrel is supposed to be exposed from what I recall seeing on Scouts. Someone with a Scout can chime in on whether that’s the case or not.

This is the one I have. I had to widen the holes for American plates but that wasn’t difficult and it’s very subtle and clean.
Most tail tidys mount to the accessory holes underneath the grab handles whereas the luggage rack replaces the grab handles themselves. Different mounting locations. I don’t know of any tail tidys that interfere with the luggage rack.
