Has anyone switched gear pattern over to GP Shift?

Copy that, I and a buddy will give it a shot, didn't know if there was an asymmetry to be accounted for.

Can't get used to GP shift.
After 50-plus years of riding, traditional pattern is instinctive. I've tried various times on my race bikes, always end up upshifting when I want to downshift in turns.
My wife, who also races, used GP style on track and on her street replicas - but oddly won't switch on her Harleys. Go figure.

I have a friend here who also club races and never has switched over. Also, I understand Max Biaggi never switch to GP Shift. I like it better
