‘Double Dark’ and some serious money went into that! My mate only sent me them as I had an FTR and thought I may have been interested! ‘Captivated’ is the word I would use and I was drawn to it in a kind of “I wanna have a go” kind of way! If you must have a sidecar something akin to that would...
Just popped back to drop a couple of photos my buddy in Spain stumbled across. Apologies if these have been posted before but I don't have the time to do a trawl looking to see if they have. Hope you're all still enjoying the FTR. Take care and keep shiny side up!
Swap the fan control relay and the start relay over and see where you're at then. I had the exact same issue and even on Digital Wrench it would not state what the issue was. Swapping the relays made the issue disappear. Intermittent relay was the cause.
Gonna give the tank bag a bump as that is all I'm sat on from the FTR metaphorically speaking. Foray into the Scout World is going great. Another 250 miles she'll be broken in and first service and brake upgrade booked 27 January. Got the bike 15 December and it rained every single day...
Will do! Have told my riding buddies in the interim I am going solo to get to grips with the bike and having gone totally 'off-piste' with a one off custom build I am staying relatively local until the bike is 'proven' before travelling further afield. If you live at Turlin Moor buy as many...
Rivo's Hub on a Thursday is worth a visit too. Occasionally I'll ride up to Weston Lawns Bike Night in Weston Super Mare, it's a great ride out through Shepton Mallet and Wells. I also do Loomies quite often too.
If you mean the one below that's mine! Had to wait until the Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC was over where the bike was on show before I could get it. Been fitting swing arm bag, blacking out and capping bolts and generally 'fettling' with it today.
Welcome. Small World, despite having 'jumped ship' from the FTR and as a result participate less on this forum I'll keep an eye out for your bike. I live less than two miles from Moore Speed Racing myself.
The Motorcycle Live Show finished yesterday. I am hopeful I’ll get her home sometime this week? Nevertheless the dealership has come down with Covid a couple of weeks after their Christmas Party so perhaps my optimism may be a little misplaced? We shall see?
Both amazing and very interesting to see you doing your own 'spannering' and your results Massimo well done. I'll not offer any opinions as you're getting a few already! ;)
Thanks for taking the time to post.
Singing off the same song-sheet you and I. Fortunately for me working for the NHS in a large hospital I keep getting offered 'free upgrades.' Left knee already done two years ago currently awaiting a chop and swap on the right.
Between the FTR and the Breakout I am hoping the Scout will sit somewhere in the middle of the two in performance and handling. Having just turned 60 Breto one thing I realize is the fact that the next decade for me is probably one of the most important in my lifetime. If I don't get done what I...
I did mine quite some time ago and it held up very well. I simply used a modelers
paint pen and it took hardly any time at all and the pen afforded accuracy and time saving.
Not even got it home yet Breto. It was a prerequisite that the bike had to go to the show. Am patiently waiting for the show to be at a close to get her home. In the interim there are a few upgrades and necessities that need sorting first. All that money in the build and they fitted a halogen...
Hi Breto, I did indeed and my Harley. Scout has just been taken by Polaris to Birmingham to sit on the Indian stand at the 2021 NEC 'Motorcycle Live Show.'
