Both of our 2019s prior to the Fuel Moto/PV treatment did not have this surging, so thankful for that. And pretty sure they didn't have "flat spots", but I'll wait until I hear from MacBayne to definitively state that. We did the tune to fix the cold start issue, the occasional self-blipping...
Very pleased with my Corbin. It was a ride-in seat build so I was able to get it the way I wanted after multiple test-rides.
That being said, not everyone has a Corbin compatible rear-end. Or Saddlemen, Sargent etc... for that matter.

Did you use the OEM spring clamps or screw worm drive style? Reason I ask, that was the most difficult for me, keeping those clamps open while manhandling the junction over its three connections.

Not sure where I bought them but eBay has the chinesium variety for sale around $30. The German variety at SW Motech are around $80. They're all pretty much the same. The important thing is to get the correct bolt size. Some on the Internet are M8 and some M10. And pretty sure the FTR uses...
