Howdy - tell me why i shouldnt get an FTR!

Both of our 2019s prior to the Fuel Moto/PV treatment did not have this surging, so thankful for that. And pretty sure they didn't have "flat spots", but I'll wait until I hear from MacBayne to definitively state that. We did the tune to fix the cold start issue, the occasional self-blipping...

Would you please define for this layman what a flat spot is and how it manifests itself while riding.

    Which aftermarket seat?

Very pleased with my Corbin. It was a ride-in seat build so I was able to get it the way I wanted after multiple test-rides. That being said, not everyone has a Corbin compatible rear-end. Or Saddlemen, Sargent etc... for that matter.

Safety Recall I-24-03 (ABS System Module)

Yes, I can see the hazard to rider if the brake light illuminates and remains on. I thought from reading the issue description (" According to the manufacturer, the affected motorcycles may have faults that could cause the bike’s brake lights to flash unexpectedly") that it was just a momentary...

    coolant junction recall help

Did you use the OEM spring clamps or screw worm drive style? Reason I ask, that was the most difficult for me, keeping those clamps open while manhandling the junction over its three connections.

    FTR coolant junction

I replaced my coolant junction yesterday from the side. Understatement: it's a bitch of a job, for many reasons. Access: there's so little room to work, so much in the way and the "arms" of the junction so short. Spring Clamps. Regardless if you use the 13mm socket to hold them open, the "arms"...

Do most folks replace the stock mirrors?

Not sure where I bought them but eBay has the chinesium variety for sale around $30. The German variety at SW Motech are around $80. They're all pretty much the same. The important thing is to get the correct bolt size. Some on the Internet are M8 and some M10. And pretty sure the FTR uses...
