Probably a stupid question, but what are the advantages of swapping to this sprocket? I believe there was another thread where you mentioned that this could potentially help with the false neutral issue when aggressively shifting from 5th to 6th right? Hopefully that is the case because that’s the biggest issue I’ve had with my 2019 RR.

Lower highway cruising Rpms, and a taller first gear to try and keep the front end down when drag racing.

I don’t thing any size rear sprocket will change that. You may rather look at the gear lever position, or install the GSXR600 shift arm for a shorter throw.

Yeah I have the shift arm on order just waiting on it to come in. Hopefully that helps because the false neutral issue is really aggravating at times.

And you went down two links right? So a 114 chain would do, if making the switch to this setup?

Correct. The 114 is the chain used on the 2022 models

Some people are talking about 43 tooth sprockets, I'm unsure about that, it's 6 teeth down from the standard 49 teeth.

Just ordered. Mine went through without having to call my bank. I’d always kinda thought the gearing was a little short for me. Super easy to power wheelie....which I don’t wanna do lol. Notice any mileage/range increase with the new gearing?

Sprockets shipped this week supposed to arrive today. So roughly week and a half after ordering they shipped. Shipping is real fast though, 3 days from Italy to MN.

Quite a few people in Aussie are putting 43 teeth sprockets on their bikes. No one seems to be saying that they are over geared.
I'm still undecided about which way to go.

How does this effect the engine braking?
Why is the ‘22 chain a difference size? Due to the smaller rear wheel?
