I own a 2008 piece of italian motrocycle history: a Moto Morini Granpasso 1200 cc. In the years I customized It a lot and It would be too long to describe here all the modifications... In any case I love it!

Do you have any other bikes? What is your favorite genre of bikes. I have a fairly eclectic interest in bikes. Mostly older Japanese bikes but I like almost anything out of the ordinary. That is why I like the FTR. It reminds me of so many of the bikes I've had because it is unique. I have built some custom bikes. Here are a few of my favorites.
I had a 1948 Indian I used to take to 'bike nights" Now I have a BMW R1200RT

DoingOK: This is the second picture you posted of motorcycles “inside” your house. My wife puts up with a lot of motorcycle BS living with me. However if I ever brought one inside the house I would be “dead” !!

Niddam: I like how the medallion on the side of your Bobber under the seat looks/fits. I am planning to do something similar. Is it possible for you measure the diameter of your medallion for me? I found a local fabricator who will make me what I want but he needs to know the diameter I want.
(I am planning on having Big Bore 1300 placed around the Indian.)

Hi, the Medalion is an original Indian accessory unprocessed (Indian refrigerator magnet set).
The clutch couver from Wunderkind was turned out a little (diameter), it was a maximum of 1-2mm. The medallion I have then with double-sided 3M adhesive tape (red one).
I hope this helps you for your project.

Oh sorry, just re-read, you mean the one under the seat....
Also quite simple, it is the original Indian belt buckle, back the pins and the tongue removed also fixed with 3M tape. ✌️😎051282CD-2CA8-43C0-994C-9E42695E9078.jpeg94C5C109-C435-42A3-9093-A243B035F1AF.jpeg

That is the one! What is the diameter from top to bottom in cm or inches? (It appears to be 3 inches or so.)
I can’t measure how much room there is on the bike because it is in the shop right now. If I supply the dimensions to my fabricator he can laser cut me a custom medallion while the bIke is being finished.

Having been on two wheels for the last 40years I've had a few bikes and many more tumbles. The roads have got more congested, the traffic less forgiving of mistakes but the riding's still fun and the fellow riders more supportive. A few of my bikes attached. My latest, a 2020 FTR1200, will be my last I fear. My grandmother had what I think is a Harley but I might be wrong.

I've had this 1992 Trident for a long time. It's been in the shop getting some maintenance and I rode it home me after dropping the FTR off for its turn.IMG_20191212_133827.jpg

This is the junkyard queen '85 K100 project bike that I'm working on with a buddy.

Pic is after we stripped it of all the fairings and loose bits and gave it a rinse; We did get it in better shape, but only marginally so. The seller never even titled it, held onto it for a few years, and had no idea how long it had sat unused before that. The last inspection sticker on the front fork is from the mid-90s.

We got it to start the other day for the first time. What a rush. The goal is to build some kind of cafe/scrambler hybrid, TBD.
