Greetings and Salutations from Boston, MA.

Picked it up yesterday. Needs a tune, as it has a different exhaust which is causing some lag.

Welcome, and many happy miles!

Don't forget to post a picture once everything is to your liking.

Also, plan to coat the exhaust, as it doesn't match.

I have a Corbeau Gunfighter seat coming for this.

I ordered the GSXR shifter arm for it.

That seat should match perfectly!

How are you liking the bike so far?
I like the bike, will like it more when it doesn't change RPM at steady throttle, burble and fart under 3500rpm, etc.

I can see the potential and know how to get it there.

Awesome after Lloydz Tune…easy to find and remove engine management module. Straightforward sending it to Lloydz for new map and reinstallation. A huge improvement, highly recommended.

So specifically, anyone know if this will throw codes:

Thanks, there is a dealer here, 7 miles from me, that can do a lloydz remote dyno tune.

I’ve had no problem with the Lloydz tune. I combined it with S&S slipon. It fixed all the engine hesitation, stalling and lumpiness before the tune.
Removing the engine management unit is easy. It was back with me within about a week.

Not sure where I said I'd have problems with the tune, or as another poster said, I'd have to send the ECM to them.

A bit perplexed.

if you live far away from a dealer that can do the tune, you have to send the ECU.
some do that anyway cause it's cheaper than a dealer doing the Lloydz tune but you've got the convenience of it being done immediately which is probably worth it.

Getting ready to cut the cat out and build my own connect pipe this week. Will then do black Swain coating (I own an oven and powder).

I may just make my own exhaust. Can bend and weld with anyone.

I do have the Corbin Gunfighter seat on. My ass thanks my wallet on that one.

Also have the headlight fairing I want to use, that will fit up a 7" LED, so may be making aluminum brackets for that, too.

I did buy the new shifter arm, from a GSXR - will get that on as well.
