Thanks!Welcome! Nice bike, I hope you don't have to wait too long to start enjoying your FTR![]()
The fuel mapping is weird on them anyway. It's still very ridable, but you notice it.Picked it up yesterday. Needs a tune, as it has a different exhaust which is causing some lag.
Yeah, I plan to tune it.The fuel mapping is weird on them anyway. It's still very ridable, but you notice it.
I like the bike, will like it more when it doesn't change RPM at steady throttle, burble and fart under 3500rpm, etc. That seat should match perfectly!
How are you liking the bike so far?
Awesome after Lloydz Tune…easy to find and remove engine management module. Straightforward sending it to Lloydz for new map and reinstallation. A huge improvement, highly recommended.I like the bike, will like it more when it doesn't change RPM at steady throttle, burble and fart under 3500rpm, etc.
I can see the potential and know how to get it there.
Thanks, there is a dealer here, 7 miles from me, that can do a lloydz remote dyno tune.Awesome after Lloydz Tune…easy to find and remove engine management module. Straightforward sending it to Lloydz for new map and reinstallation. A huge improvement, highly recommended.
Not sure where I said I'd have problems with the tune, or as another poster said, I'd have to send the ECM to them.I’ve had no problem with the Lloydz tune. I combined it with S&S slipon. It fixed all the engine hesitation, stalling and lumpiness before the tune.
Removing the engine management unit is easy. It was back with me within about a week.
if you live far away from a dealer that can do the tune, you have to send the ECU.Not sure where I said I'd have problems with the tune, or as another poster said, I'd have to send the ECM to them.
A bit perplexed.
