Some weeks ago, small puddle on garage floor, followed by a ride out and a second puddle. Closer inspection showed a coolant trail roughly 4cm wide on the right hand side of the rad from the top, and all the fins were wet to the touch.
Having seen the coolant level was down we refilled and also removed the radiator cap and replaced it. The trail of coolant then dried up and since there have been no more puddles. My dealer looked to the bike and suspected that the radiator cap seal had a small exit point somewhere, the coolant had then trailed aross the top of the rad before heading south due to the lean of the bike on the side stand. We may have unwittingly solved the problem by re-seating and therefore sealing again the cap. Has anyone else seen or experienced silmilar? Jon
