Simply unassailable. And had he not made those mistakes at COTA and Jerez he could easily be 30 - 40 points clear. He was also saved by the red flag at Silverstone. Like Rossi on the five cylinder RC211v and the completely re-vamped M1, it's yet again what happens if you hand the best machinery to the best rider on the grid. The comparative advantage is indomitable. Marc is a freak, and the way that the development is skewed to his unique riding style does not bode well for Ducati where if Pecco's woes are anything to go by, a similar situation could arise to the one at HRC where the bike became unrideable for anyone else. He claims that he is on a modified version of the GP24 and downplays the machinery he’s on. Initially this may have been true, where Ducati took a backward step with the 25 in deference to the previous iteration. With the GP25, they want to get more power so they’ve changed the weight distribution and the changes that they’ve made they’ve then tried to compensate for by matching the geometry to the GP24...and it is working. In Silverstone, he had a new chassis, but he was back to the old chassis at Aragon. He’s playing mind games. But everyone see's through it. Franco Morbidelli was calling bullshit when he said I’ve raced against him, no way is that a GP24. Ducati have managed to get the power to ground for Marc and not Pecco - and we've seen this so many times before that the lead development rider completely and exclusively changes the characteristics of the motorcycle to suit their style whilst the other side of the garage gets frozen out. This was Pecco's greatest fear about becoming teammates with Marc and it's entirely justified and borne out.

Whereabouts in the USA did you visit?

Vegas, Chicago, New York, New Orleans, Orlando, Tampa, Ft Lauderdale, Atlanta, Covington, Maggie Valley, Tail of the Dragon, Great Smokey National Park, Nashville, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park

the first 5-7 laps were brilliant. what we expect from Pecco.
how MM and AM are able to outride him constantly, i'm not sure.
His bike did seem to shake more under braking, but given he's been beaten by AM on a 2024 bike......
I feel for him.
Clearly we have the best rider (MM) on the best bike which will always be hard to beat.
but Pecco should be coming in 2nd, not 4th.

I will go to Assen next weekend and it will be interesting if Pecco can be back on the podium.
Agreed. It's his favourite track.

Lack of front end feel. He likes it firm at the front. He's being beaten because Alex (and by DiGi last weekend) are on the far more well mannered and docile GP 24. That's why he was three tenths faster last year. Meanwhile, the revised engine and modified weight distribution play to Marc's strengths and while that's the case, Ducati aren't about to make any concessions to him. The result? They could over time head in a direction similar to Stoner at Ducati and Marc at HRC, in which they end up with a bike that is unrideable for his teammate and their satellite customers/franchises.

What an absolute abortion of an attempted pass by Morbidelli on Viñales. Almost as disgusting as Aldo Drudi's vomit inducing VR46 bikes. In contrast, how tasteful were those 'Renaissance' factory Ducatis.

Superb Moto 3 race.

Where was the silver metal flake Duke or a nice 851 paint job.......I thought Aprilia could have done a green on one side red on the other with a white stripe.....even a Chesterfield inspired job would have been nice.......how come some dodgy half breed imagrant like me can come up with something better than the Italians.............................rant over before they make me tell them if that rag smells like chloroform again

Sorry Edgelett and FTR London, im not trying to railroad you well written review of the GPs.
No he (from the camera angle) ran onto the green on the last couple of laps. I tell you what...im probably a tad bit bias but when was the last time we saw the singer ride a bike to sing the national anthem................i also didn't know that 'shook me all night long' was the national anthem, but you live and learn.

oh you mean he exceeded track limits a few times?
yeah probably. he won't cop a penalty though. they love him.

I think they reference a warning on the bike's dash. Since it's the last lap... who gives a ditty.

well they've penalised others for the same thing on the last lap in the past and made them give up a podium

Narrow this down to racing politics. The dirty side of all types of racing. Head butting of Bill France Sr. and Smokey Yunick I'll use as an example.

The area on your screenshot was the blue zone and it´s not forbidden to drive on....the forbidden are the green zone like the corners before start/finish.

Fantastic races during the weekend at best weather conditions to see...again next year.

I'm not sure what to say about the German GP other than a lot of people crashed who could have had podiums.
only 10 bikes finished!!!
