that mpg calculator is inaccurate. You have a 3+ gallon tank.

You’re almost at full and you only have 93 mile range…

100-120 miles to a tank is average.

Yes, the MPG figure must be inaccurate . I filled up, then rode 31 miles, so if the range indicator is anywhere near accurate, that would make the full range about 124 miles so approx. 43.5 mpg (UK gal) or 36.5 mpg (US gal).

I've filled mine up and the Range read 115 miles, but then after cruising along for a few miles it went up to 155 miles. Never really checked mpg as I am not bothered, it's the range I'm still interested in.

Just picked my new bike up last week. Just got it to the 500 miles run in point yesterday. In that time I've done just over 120 miles on a tank 4 times (I've been running the bike in yes, but not babying it), and each time filled up with between 11.5 and 12 litres...

The range isn't great, but thankfully it's not too bad economy wise. Averaging a calculated 47mpg currently. I've had bikes with much larger fuel tanks (17 or 18L on an MT-10, older Tuono V-Twin's and a Tuono 1100 V4) that the range was no better on, but they were much thirstier.

Haha, yep, the short range makes friends. Last Fall I got stranded in the woods - being too optimistic and additionally in an area where gas stations are rare, got me into shi**. No cellphone reception, me looking quite desperate, the few drivers passing only looked and didn´t stop. Then I heard downshift crackles and bangs, a GT3 RS bolted out of the corner, saw me, hit the brakes and whined back in reverse. After telling him, he just said "gimme some minutes". 15min later he was back, had a 10(!) Liter can from a nearby friend who had bunkered gas barrel-wise for his MX Bikes. And even after some arguments this chap refused payment ... I mean, shit happens but sometimes with some awesome outcome! (He´s also got bikes and sometimes we find us time & ride.)
