New recall for 2022 models coming.

Thank you for heads up. I own a 2022 FTR R Carbon

Interesting - the hubby has already had a fuel sensor replaced, I wonder if this will affect his bike still?
Guess we wait and see if we get a letter about it.
We never got one about the brake light issue that affected US and Canadian models

no idea cause it was never a recall here.
It wasn't here either, so no recall was authorised. The reason that I ask is because my current 2020 FTR had an issue with the ABS pump causing the rear brake light to stay illuminated. Apparently, this was a fault acknowledged by recall in the US but not over here. Out of goodwill however Polaris did however provide the dealer with a replacement for the defective unit.

they probably just reprogrammed it because that’s all it was over here. The Indian challengers had the exact same recall.

But this isn’t that thread..

No, when that didn't work, it transpired that in order to rectify the fault it required an entirely new unit which Polaris provided due to previous occurrences. I had to wait six weeks for it to be obtained from the States.

if only IMC would take this opportunity to redesign the fuel tank so it doesn't take 30mins to fill it up

The carbon is carbon bodywork. The Rally have spoke wheels. But what's the difference between a 1200 R and plain old 1200?
I'm thinking I have a plain jane, round dash1200. Wait, say the R has the box dash.

How close am I?

I'll wait for a letter, but no title to the bike yet. Who knows when that's done. I'll call Polaris next week, or at least ask where the leak rubs or feel a push spot where a bubble would be?

if yours is a 2022 and has an analogue dash, that's the base model. the 1200 S has the digital dash and ride modes.
the RR was a 2019 model (race replica) and came with akraprovic mufflers and the race replica colour scheme. in 2019 anything other than the RR had a large black muffler.
for 2022 that was changed to the Carbon and in 2022 all FTRs other than the base came with the Akra exhaust.

The only Recall notice I received (to date) was for the plastic Cooling System Junction Box getting cracks resulting in possible HOT water sprayage on Riders leg. Hey if they want to fix something that isn't broken (at least not yet anyway) more power to 'em.

Just checking in. Anyone receive a letter in the mail about the tank recall? I have not received a title nor a license plate for the bike yet. Probably going to take a ride to the dealer and chat with the service department about this and leave the frame Vin with them.

Went to the local dealer, asked about the tank recall. Guy looked up my vin # and showed recalls of a coolant problem and ABS software update. Was told the bike originated in Fla. No mention of a tank recall with vin #.

Also cut the sneeze screen out of the AC element. Found it somewhat bogged when throttling up, but was sort of smooth running at 2,344 rpm window.
