So I saw someone her got the rear tire hugger and I really liked it. Ordered it straight from Powerbronze in raw plastic (I planed on painting it Nighthawk Black) but that never happened. 66C88D00-622E-40A1-BA1E-94A913C5C1A5.jpeg
Shortly after the tire hugger I got the rear seat cowl that only comes in carbon fiber. I was going to paint it black (also never happened). Man I was hooked when I saw the carbon fiber, what kinda person would paint over carbon fiber (right). That started a big purchase.

I didn’t really know what to do with the tire hugger, it didn’t match anything at this point. First I wrapped it with some carbon fiber wrap, it looked okay but I thought I could do better. So I decided to wrap it with real carbon fiber, lots of work. First picture is the wrap. 2D78375A-060C-46B0-BADD-6F9C2AB920A1.jpeg
here is the process for using actual carbon fiber, kinda like fiberglass work.
lots of sanding and re-coating. 4899A75B-4D6D-4A54-B1C2-388C9DA1289D.jpeg3762CD20-E5E0-449A-B986-A786D4C71F33.jpegA05095E6-954A-4422-830D-A7AFC01532CD.jpegED8A7B2C-CF29-4BD0-B5EE-B5FCEF93C2D8.jpegF588E38A-4B2B-4B15-BB26-8D611F70203B.jpegCC1476C0-3738-4057-8A30-2E98395D7E6E.jpeg97994EC0-EF83-44A3-A995-CC582A4EFA8D.jpeg479E3D7F-5DF4-4963-BBD5-9A11A00893B1.jpegit’s not perfect my no means, but I’m happy with it.

Next project is swapping the rear wheel for the 22 17” and a 190 tire. The wheel is on a big back order, so going to be December before this gets done. I do have the tire tho.

After I untaped mine from the loom it just sits behind that cover. I just reach in and grab it and then tuck it back in when it’s charged…👍😎
Yep, same here. It's free for when I need it and tucked back otherwise.

Nice work. Do you have the part number for that carbon decal?
Yeah it’s 5266178-03, the -03 is very important so make sure it’s the complete PT#.
I’m not sure if this link will work or not
My dealer said it couldn’t be gotten, they wouldn’t even look.
