SAE battery tender connection bi-directional?

Hi legends, wanted to know if the stock SAE battery tender connection is bi-directional?
IE: Can is be used to supply power as well as accept power.
Usecase is heated gloves and/or vest for next winter.

I believe @K9F has done just that by adding an extension lead to the factory connector, then powering his phone etc. Just be wary that some battery lead fuses may be higher rating than your accessory items and may not give the correct protection.

I did indeed extend it! With a double SAE to USB adaptor I can keep both phone and Sena fully charged on long trips for the duration of the trip.

That’s exactly how I feed my gps. It’s bidirectional.

btw, there’s also an unused 12V connector behind the headlight.
