Side stand too long

Interesting thread;
I'm a new 2022 Carbon owner and have no problem with side stand.
I has more than enough lean angle to fell secure.
Perhaps the Ohlins rear shock lowers the static stance?

And the standard 17" wheels that are found on a plethora of bikes. ;)

This is a hardened metal incorporated in the original. Sanded with a belt loop and built in. that took 10 minutes.

here are two pictures where you can see exactly where the stop is. must sit exactly like that. I'm very satisfied.

the 2022 model they adjusted the length of the side stand by a LOT. made a big difference

It doesnt and even if it did, that would make things worse. You'd want a taller bike to counteract a long kick stand.

I have the 22 ohlin's stuff(front and rear) on my 19', there is no noticeable difference in the height of the bike compared to stock (19) base components. The lean angle has never bothered me on my bike.

I cut out just under a half inch and wish I’d cut another 1/8” or so. Took it out below where the spring attaches but above the “hoop”. Ground it to match the taper. Attached is post nip and tuck

Rather than cut it I've thought about heat and bend. One bend at the top to lower it and widen the spread and another at the bottom to flatten the foot.
I might have to dummy it up with a piece of number 8 wire to see how it might look.
I thought about that too, but for now living with cut and weld that’s still a little too long
