Where did you ride your FTR today?

Rode it into the shed - leaving on a 5 week holiday in a few days so moved the bikes out the way for our house sitter so they can fit their car in.

Not today, but Saturday rode the FTR up to the National Motorcycle Museum, which is a huge collection of British bikes, but they did have one Indian there... sort of.

Speaking of motorcycle museums, the most stunning one I have visited was the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum:

It's located in the mountain pass Timmelsjoch / Passo Rombo near the border between Italy and Austria, at 2175 m / 7135 ft.
It burned down not long ago, but they have rebuilt it.
I dream of going back someday. The roads leading there are out of this world, too.

The best automobile museum I've visited is the Musée National de l'Automobile in Mulhouse, France:

That thing is MASSIVE. You need at least a whole day.

I pass this small private collection on the road from Andorra to Barcelona once a month, but I have yet to stop there:

A glorious day, so I took the afternoon off and spent a couple of hours riding around the local countryside 😁

Very nice!
Weather permitting, I'll bring my FTR back from its Winter storage in Barcelona next weekend. Would have gone this weekend already, but... rain.

Not much snow left, only on north-facing slopes 2200 m / 7200 ft and higher. Having said that, I had to interrupt a hike ealier today because of this: 😅

But the roads have been clear for a while and copious rains have washed away the road salt. The riding season can begin 😎

Back to the dealer ☹️
I suddenly got a CEL. No codes stored but I did noticed the engine temp was really eratic. A warm engine suddenly showing -3 and then 94.
It eventually settled on 94 with the fan on permanently and it doesn’t usually switch on until 97.
I suspected a faulty temp sensor but the dealer have said they cleared a load of codes (I had a couple of issues starting it this week). They have said the engine temp and fan switch on is now behaving normally but the bike is hunting at idle. I have this dealer (where the bike came from) and the dealer that did the Lloydz tune talking to each other. Perfect timing as I have 20 days of factory warranty left! 😅
Meanwhile, whilst I left them to work it out I went and tested out another bike. If I buy it will be a stable mate for the Indian and not a replacement.

I competed in the most dangerous endurance race in the known universe again today........yes the northside of Brizneeland (Brisbane) to the Goldcoast commute.....think frogger and roadrash video games rolled into one.
its now been 15odd months of rain, my next challenge is to ride in the dry.....or wait for Indian to release the FTRx jetski

On Saturday someone I used to work with organised a sort of reunion meet up in Market Harborough. It was a glorious day, so a mate of mine and I decided to take "the scenic rout" and ride around the local roads on the way there. The 12 mile trip took about 75 miles to complete..........it was great.
I was snapped by a photographer in a lay-by, I d102292028-B644 100525-185 Indian Ride 10-05-25 LR.webpidn't realise people did that......
Oh, and about 150 people turned up to the reunion. What a great day.
