Where did you ride your FTR today?

Ride home from holiday today. 1100 and something miles in two weeks but the first week we didn’t do much riding.
The bike is filthy, ashamedly so.
Chain needs adjusting, and I need some rest!
The best part, is the I had Thor replace the temp sensor before I left as the bike was doing some odd things before. Now perfect again.

Welcome back from your well deserved holidays. Did you holiday activities overseas include any motorcycle riding? :)
unfortunately no, we were in the USA for 5 weeks with lots of flights to various states, a cruise, and a fair bit of driving.
But we did visit the Wheels Through Time museum and thrash the pants of a rental car up Tail of the Dragon

The 'Wheels through time' would have been worthwhile.....is it a day or two day type of museum
everything we did on our trip was worthwhile.
Wheels Through Time, we were there for about 4 or 5 hours but you could take 2 days i guess. For a 1 day pass, they allow you to leave, get food etc and come back without re-paying.

Thought I would go on a short ride, and kinda just kept going. 119 miles, 3hrs 33mins.

Got gas twice, talked to two really nice gentlemen about motorcycles, got vapes, and had an over all blast.

Saw so many bikes, but not a single ftr 😔.

I'd be stuck at the Thor board tracker stand for about a week

Spent the last weekend in Barcelona where my FTR was stored for Winter, brought it back home last night. It's unlikely to snow much anymore - if, then maybe once or twice.
Used the opportunity to go riding in the old familiar places where I used to go when we lived in Barcelona. Mostly the Montserrat mountains and around.

Every bike I've ever had, I brought it here and took this picture. It's a tradition :D

This the spot. It's in the Montserrat mountains, near the entrance to the Monastery complex. About 50 clicks / 30 miles from the city.

Damn! Came to have a Philips auto radio installed, but the shop has burnt down! Fairly recently too, prolly just 30-40 years ago.

Montserrat in the background.
Philips Auto Radio - don't think they still exist?!

I suppose they are Sikh. Originally from Punjab region in India. Sikhism is a religion. I believe wearing turbans is mandatory for them. Yellow I think is just an optimistic color they choose for the Spring.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

There are many Indian people living in the UK, and elsewhere in Europe. I have 3 Indian colleagues at work.

I think Sikh have an exception in the military (in the UK too), and are premitted to wear turbans as part of their military uniforms.

What I wonder is how do they ride motorcycles - what about the helmet.
In Germany BMW GS riders are famous for their yellow vests ...:)
