Kineo Wheels

Hello, About to pull the trigger on some 17" Kineo Wheels for my 2020 FTR. Just wondered if anyone has any experience with these (or any) other 17's fitted, replacing the 19's. Just figured I could swap these, tinker with the suspension a bit and have the best or both worlds, a 2020 19inch or 2022 17inch FTR!! I know there's a bit less travel with the newer model and it'll not be exactly the same but I'm just after some better rubber and a few laughs, not a few tenths!!!
Thanks very much in advance for any thoughts or experience.

The rubber is ok I suppose, not as much choice as the 17’s give you tho. Also kinda wanting the ride height reducing a tad, and the better handling which will also come from fitting these. I actually see it as a saving, I’d need 6k plus mine for a 2022, even with all the extras I have fitted, so the new wheels look like a bargain!!

£2,430 mate, from HPS, they also do a quick shifter/Autoblipper aswell, it’s the first downshifter I’ve seen for our bike, that’s a pricey £800 tho!!

Yeah, been working hard and saving these last few years but honestly now, with everything that’s going on, more and more of me is just thinking “bollocks to it” enjoy what we’ve got now!!

If I were to spend money on wheels I’d go the full monty and install a set of BST’s. Kineos hurt my eyes…

(anyone want a kidney? Hardly used and only a few small stones in it…)

I looked them up recently - couldn't see any 17's in their options. which sucks cause I swear they used to be there.

Glad to hear your happy with them, I placed my order yesterday for the Kineo, Matt gold with black spokes and hubs, tried to keep the “bling” down to a minimum, some look a little ott to me. Only 12 weeks to wait now…..

They offer the following sizes:

front:
19x3"
17x3.5"

rear:
18x5.5"
17x5.5"

Max…. Would these wheels work for a ‘22 model that already has 17” wheels? I remember hearing about different ABS sensor placement between first and second gen bikes.
