2022 Carbon first 500+ miles impressions

I wish my good roads were close enough to do that.

2022 Carbon first 500+ miles impressions

good to hear, thanks! The tread (what there is) on the rear is even cupping in the direction of accelerating, if that tells you anything!

2022 Carbon first 500+ miles impressions

Maybe an s22 Bridgestone or similar, I want to stick with hypersport grip. I had to pay an extra $50 or so for the rear since it cost so much to ship it from the UK. If someone actually had them in stock here in the states it wouldn’t have been too bad. I just didn’t want to pay even more to...

2022 Carbon first 500+ miles impressions

Stock pressures, does the Honda put out the same amount of torque? At any rate, I’m a little aggressive on the throttle. My next pair will be something comparable, probably a Michelin 5. Some of my riding is straight line highway to get to where the good riding is, hence the middle is worn out.

2022 Carbon first 500+ miles impressions

Managed to eek out 2700 miles out of the first rear tire, but the belts are about ready to show. You can actually see and feel indentations in the rubber where they are! There are no tires available in the states that I could find, ended up sourcing one from the UK for about $230 shipped. Will...

    Carbon seat

I like mine. It’s one of the few seats I’ve ever sat on that doesn’t make my guy parts go numb after a few hours. My only complaint is that it is so grippy, it grabs my pant legs when I go to put my feet down, then bunches them slightly when I get going again. I’ve adapted by just putting one...

    2022 FTR Owner Report

These are rated in the top few of this type of tire as well, I'm quite happy with them. I'm obviously heavy handed coming out of the corners, but they have never let me down. I actually have zero chicken strips on these(rear anyway) I'm that confident with them on normal streets. I love both...

    2022 FTR Owner Report

Well, my first rear tire is nearly toast at 2400 miles. Not the tire's fault, this beast puts a ton of torque to that rear and I love the rush I get from releasing it. No burnouts, clutch ups, etc. Just hard riding. The front is still around half, so I am getting another rear until they are both...

    2022 FTR Owner Report

No, it works in Neutral coasting for sure and maybe with the throttle closed in gear and coasting with the clutch in? But obviously you have to get some momentum up or be on a slope to do that.

SOLD -Brand new R Carbon factory seat

Someone should jump on this, it's a firm but comfortable seat that I can go all day on at around 220lbs. Lighter people may think it's too firm.

Where did you ride your FTR today?

Oh, and Hell is apparently Zanesville, OH as that’s where the road ends, didn’t even seem hot? Eerily, there is a casket manufacturer at the end....
