"Brand agnostic" I am going to use that. I don't understand the brand worship of so many people. I like them all (motorcycles that is). Some more than others. Brands are a necessary evil. I also own a Challenger for almost a year now. A touring bike that is fun to ride. It feels much lighter and nimble than comparable bikes. The stock bars are awful. Every bike has it's use. Like chainsaws it just depends on what you're doing. I can't imagine life with 1 chainsaw.

I too started on a dt175 and own one exactly like it now. I have to say your post is spot on and very well written. Enjoyed it.

54 F here so I talked the Orange Blossom Special into trying to keep up with me today. The more I ride it the more I like it. Not a fan of abs though. Anyone else like to get rid of theirs?

I have checked into a trip to Romania but am open to any place in the Carpathian range.

The Carpathian mountains are on my short list to ride in. I would appreciate any suggestions on where and when to ride there.

I also picked mine up a couple days before Christmas to commute on. 50 miles of back roads each way. Should be a fun year if I can keep my license. Torque = 😃
