Geelong. Terrible mechanic. The fact the workshop is also an LDV workshop with a parttime Indian motorcycle mechanic should have been the give away. After 4 months of waiting my part arrived only to find out they ordered the wrong part....so another 4 months of waiting I guess.
After the first...
I brought both the saddleman GP-V1 and the Track LS to replace the stock seat because it didn't work for me.
Both aftermarket options are better than stock but I settled on keeping the Track LS and selling the GP-V1. It's only seen a few hours of usage and has been living in the box it arrived...
The bike I had where it occurred wasn't an Indian and wasn't showing any error lights. The workshop manual mentioned trouble starting issues and the vacuum lines as a possible cause. I had tried a few things already that didn't work so decided to replace the lines out of desperation. After that...
I've had a similar issue on a previous bike. For me it was a vacuum leak. While a crack in the hose wasn't visible replacing the hoses fixed the issue.
Love the bike. Hate the dealership in Aus. The first service they charged a fortune and a week later I had the bike halfway stripped down fixing what they had messed up. If it goes to a mechanic again it likely won't be the dealership. Another pain point is a small warranty claim that I...
Just curious about the function of this wire on the rear brake cylinder on my 2022 S. Ive got a 2019 service manual but I don't see it as part of that model. Thanks.
Not sure but it seems like alot of people are having the same issue with different cords and chargers,

Ive owned a bunch of big bikes but the ftr is certainly unique. The engine is a monster and puts a smile on the face as the revs climb. But not having a tank to grip onto with the legs makes it interesting to control at speed. Definitely a bike to ride with caution if starting out.
I was just cleaning the bike today and found these empty screw holes on the bottom of the engine. I assume I'm not missing screws and instead they are just used during manufacturing?
