I can help with part of your quest ... I've owned and loved a Street Triple and have spent a lot of time on newer Speedys, too. I basically bought (and soon totalled :oops: ) an FTR cuz it cured my sportbike jones and I could still ride with my club cuz it's a US v-twin. I loved that thing...

It took a 5 hour run for me to find the hot spots, but they were definitely there. 😄 Nothing that a couple gel pads won't fix. I know a guy.

Just came down the mountain to hit I40. About 15 miles of almost constant S curves.

Gotta get gel pads in that seat and a slight resculpt. It's fine for my 4 -5 hr roundtrip work commute. But yesterday after five hours straight except for gas stops my old ass was on fire. :cry:

When younger there were years I didn't own a car and just learned how to dress for cold and rain.. But I find at my age I'm beginning to dislike it severely and take my raggedly assed old cage more often. I'd kill for a breathable rain suit that actually works.

Man, you were lucky. Here around Ft Bragg many of the active duty strippers are already doing that. :( As an aside ... I worked with 10th Group in Bad Tolz and Sigmarigen on Flintlock '88 and again for the 30 day PCT course (which sucked massively).

The Major just had me put Mav Crushers on her Scout. I'm putting a high flow airbox on it next and will take it to Lloydz for the ECU flash. That little Scout is pretty impressive already (I totally want one) so it'll be interesting to see what it does on her baby.
