Cool, yeah it seems totally do-able. If I go for it I’ll let everyone know. I really like the Sawicki Speed look and have some personal business where they are at so maybe I’ll try to talk them into a collector and link pipe to go with their slip-on
That’s true, but I’m talking about cutting both header pipes ahead of the cat and collector, then replacing with collector/link pipe/silencer. You can order collectors to spec, just have to find the right bend and length for the link pipe based on the silencer you want...
I bet you cut the headers prior to the cat and then link pipe and silencer are held on by clamps and springs. Thats what I recommended to competition werks.

Learned a lot from this forum, thanks guys…
For the 22’s, has anyone tried or heard of someone trying to cut the headers prior to the y-pipe and then buying or fabricating a collector/mid-pipe that would enable a 19-21 system to be slid on? I’m tempted… the header tubes individually spec’d at...
Hello from another Friendly New Guy. Just got my 22 FTR and sorting out what I’d like to do with it. Had various bikes… MT-10, KLR650, TW200, YZ250, KX125, RMZ450, Suzuki S50. Looking forward to gaining knowledge and hearing experiences…
