coolant junction recall help

hey all! decided i was going to do the coolant junction myself (currently asking myself why), and i got the old junction off but have absolutely no idea how i’m going to get the new one on.

anyone do their own recall and learn and tricks they can share? TIA!

I haven’t done it yet, but I’ve read others say using a hairdryer to heat up the new one and make it more flexible helps to get it in place.

Were you able to get the new junction installed?

Did you use the OEM spring clamps or screw worm drive style? Reason I ask, that was the most difficult for me, keeping those clamps open while manhandling the junction over its three connections.
