How would they know if dB killer was cut down ? A very slight increase in noise/throaty sound, more popping on deceleration, but also I think it looks far better with single pipe. Weather that is enough to offset the £400 cost ??!
Fitted a S&S grand national slip on the other day, sounded slightly louder with dB reducer in, so removed dB ,quite a bit louder and deeper tone , I'm pretty happy with the sound not sure if I'm going to do the cat delete as it's going to be that much louder again ! Will decide in next few...
Was supposed to be doing imrg ride today, but having 360 miles on clock then doing a 300 mile round trip would have took me way over the 500 running in service☹️ looks like it was a good turnout hope the weather held out for you.
Your right there, I sat back away from where we'd parked drinking our coffee and my mate said your bike's attracting attention , four Harley riders were studying it, then BMW GS guys, only thing is when I fired her up they were surprised how quiet it was, the new exhaust is needed asap !!
Thanks for the information, I'm a bit slow when it comes to technology but I guess it's fairly straightforward. It's sounds very nice obviously if cat was still installed it would be much quieter.

I am looking at putting a S&S slip-on onto my 2019 model, are you running yours with or without cat? I shall be keeping cat but want a little more sound than my standard pipe, you said it was too loud with dB removed so there must be quite a difference?
I'm in the Forest of Dean, around 20miles away from some great Welsh roads, we are spoilt really ! Exmoor should be a nice ride.. loving the Ftr but still running in so can only get better !
