Current helmets
Shoei Qwest, one of the quietest helmets I've ever worn
Shoei replaced it with the GT-Air II
I also wear a Shoei Hornet X2
I like the visor when the sun gets low in the Spring and Fall
Make sure you do a walk around of your bike and point out any scratches and such with the service manager. And go a step beyond pointing out that the left side is clear of any marks. Even if they state a procedure that only does the repair from the top of the bike.
I'm sure my tech needed...
They did scratch the frame, to the metal.
That's why I asked about the procedure to see if it was something from the top but some choose to get at it from the side
Does anybody have the procedure and/or know how long the replacement should take to complete?
I believe my dealer took the shortcut and used my frame for leverage to remove the junction from the side.
Grrr...
Twin Cities Indian in Rogers, MN
Went on a Tri-Dealer ride over the weekend in Minnesota.
Great day!!
Motoprimo Indian of Lakeville
Mies Outland of Watkins
St Paul Indian
246 miles of smiles
Finally got this put together and it works great
I ended up using a 10-32 x 1/2 bolt for the Givi ring.
In the picture I had 10-32 x 3/4, the 1/2 inch works much better
I don't think GIVi has a lock ring for the filler cap. MY19 is a normal locked screw off cap.
BUT, I purchased the center console for $35 from Indian and a GIVI metal ring I had and will mount it to the new center console. I seen somebody else do this and they claimed it was solid. I use a GIVI...
I got mine in the Spring. Only managed 2800 miles of smiles. When parked I can't keep my eyes off of it. It's by far the sweetest looking bike I've owned and a blast to ride.
In the Twin Cities of Minnesota the cloverleafs would put a lot of right side wear merging from one freeway to another. The fix was to ride out to the more urban areas where roundabouts have become popular. Since they are left leaning the wear is now even on both sides...
;)
