I added a nylon washer around the stock bolt going into the bars. The arrow mirror is secured to the plastic sleeve. Seems to work and cost less then $2.oo to do both sides.
I mounted up the front 17” wheel without the tone ring, put it in sport mode, turned off the ABS/TC and hooliganism ensued. 😈
All I can say is… Ooh my!
I'm guessing there is some visible thread exposed, but I too would like to know. I have a front 17'' wheel ready to go to the machine shop. Has there been a tone ring adaption part produced yet?
I already have a 17'' rear. I've been running the 17/19 combo for a while. It works, but I think ultimately a 17/17 combo makes the most sense for my riding style on this particular bike.
Cheers!
So... stupid question time. Has anyone come up with some kind of adapter yet to mount up a 17'' front wheel?
Second stupid question... Do you just loose ABS if a front 17" wheel is installed on a 2019?
Ive come full circle on the suspension. After purchasing a KTM 890R the height on the FTR seemed super low and the suspension super stiff. I reinstalled the stock suspension and got it dialed... I like it! The FTR is little bit taller now, but definitely manageable in the grand scheme of things...
