    Custom seat build

Gel pad seems kind of awkward. Definitely adds height and I feel more pressure on my wrists as I am sitting taller and leaning more towards bar. Need to give it more testing. Not sure it will help or not.

    Custom seat build

I ended up buying a gel pad to put over the top of the seat. It arrives tomorrow. Will test it out. Having an extra 1" in height will also help the knees.

You may run into pan issues if you go lower. The guy who did the seat was pointing out how there was very little padding before you hit the pan - particularly on the rise. I guess you could go lower but probably would mean less padding.

    Custom seat build

Just took out for 70 mile ride. This time I wore my Triumph vented motorcycle pants. That made a difference over jeans . It is by no means a luxury touring seat now - and I did that on purpose not wanting to destroy the flow of the seat and bike. Definitely a difference (for the good) and can...

    Custom seat build

I decided to have my seat customized as it was horribly uncomfortable. On a recommendation found a custom seat guy who specializes in motorcycle seats in the St. Louis area. Rich Phillips cycles - https://richphillipscycles.com/ I told him I wanted to keep the original shape as much as...

    Non Factory luggage options

This was the reply from Max at SW-Motech: This is showing up as unavailable only because it is out of stock in both the US and German warehouses. I checked the Euro website and it shows an eta of week 34 of this year. Once in stock in either warehouse it will be orderable on the US website...

    Contacting Ryan at Lloyds garage?

Ha - this is what is on the Toce site: We would recommend reaching out to Ryan directly at Llyodz Garage ([email protected]) about the tuning capabilities on your specific year rather than purchasing the Powervisions directly through us. I'll try with a z - and let Toce know

    Contacting Ryan at Lloyds garage?

I was planning to replace the cat with the Toce pipe and it recommends contacting [email protected] for an upgraded tune. I have tried multiple times and keep getting my email sent back to me with this message: There was a temporary problem delivering your message to [email protected]...

Is this attached to the SW-Motech mount? I went online and it said it is not available

Agreed about your comment about being on 2 wheels. Just got back also from a trip (car) with wife through southern Utah and hit Monument Valley, Zion, Bryce, Escalante, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches. Would have been fun on 2 wheels. National Parks are getting crazy busy and suggest anyone...

This got me looking for other alternatives - given the frame mounting point that is available. Not sure this option would work but offers another mounting option. Rivco frame mount

    Forward pegs

I was thinking about investing in a saddleman seat. Or maybe try some type of pad - airhawk or otherwise. I did a trip a few weeks ago and had a few 300 mile plus days - and they were painful. I suffer from knee issues so trying to get less bend in my knees. The more they bend the more they hurt.

    Forward pegs

Yes, I know this is not a touring bike. I know, buy a freakin BMW if you want comfort. I have a history of turning bikes into something they are not - and in this case I want to address my knee issues by trying to create some type of forward peg. I really need to stretch my leg (right) out due...
