Is this normal for the exhaust pipes to look like this?

Used FTR for sale, only 2,450 miles. Couldn't help but notice how that front pipe looks, almost black near the cylinder head.

Yeah it is. If the owner never cleaned them.

No. Use red schotchbrite

Ferraiolo is correct. Red Scotchbrite is the best with a little Autosol. Mine are two years old.

What do you use on the polished toce lows

just metal polish. Do not use abrasive pads

I hate how brown stainless turns...but it's pretty easy to clean and I also say stick to a red scotch Brite. The steel wool even at 0000 will leave fine scratches
