My gas cap will not open

Drove it to the gas station, expecting to do the obvious. I got there put the key in, and it would not turn. I got home and hit it with wd-40, and no luck. Anybody have any suggestions before I start crying

Well, I seem to have figured out the problem. When they were servicing the ftrs they were servicing a few at once and they swapped gas caps
