Replacing front turn signals

Hi, first post here looking for some help on front turn signals.

To remove the standard ones is it just a screwdriver into the plastic body to open it and then remove without having to do anything with the attachment on the front fork? I don’t want to force them open until I know this is the way to do it

many thanks

You have to unbolt the nut and bolt holding the band around the fork.
All of this is much easier to access if you have the plastic fairing around the headlight removed (if you have one) and that is held on by just 4 bolts on each corner.
Once you do that unplug the signal and the whole assembly comes out. If you are looking to remove the signal from the fork band there is a bolt recessed inside the band that is accessible once you have the whole assembly removed.
