I figured maybe someone else might need a brake lever, so I am sharing that a replacement can be found on eBay.
It seems that Ducati uses the same lever on some of their machines, including the Monster 696.
$35 plus shipping.
Indian does have them available, but they are $85.
I got too close to the wife's car and off balance and snapped off my brake lever.
If anyone has one to sell, I'd like to buy it.
I'm in Tennessee, USA.
THANKS!
It's the stock seat with a different cover. Bad reviews on it.
I can buy covers all day online.
Had a Saddle man --- gosh that was awful. Ditched it.
Having the seat slide you forward is idiotic, IMHO .
I'm looking at a Triumph. The ftr is fun for short rides, but I ride too many miles. If...
Thanks. Never heard of them. I Enjoyed learning about the bike. I like it.
I just wonder if the seat is more comfortable than my FTR?!?
I've had my bike for 5 or 6 months and am thinking about getting rid of it for that one reason, lol. It's awful!
What is"Suss"?
Never heard of that. Not in the dictionary.
Man --- sorry for the flat! Glad you safely stopped. I've been there!
Now you have to decide which tire to try next!
Maybe.
I got $2000 MORE than I paid for my Scout 2 years and 20k ago.
The FTR had been sitting on the floor for more than a year and I picked it up for cheap.
This area is a bad one for FTRs. No one wants them. Worked out for me.
Definitely worth a shot --- at least get a decent trade on...
Sorry about that.
Been there.
Wife now has her own bike (Indian Scout) and I can ride whatever.
IF you cannot sell right away, I think you may find a backrest for her would change her world back there.
Nothing off the shelf, but it has been done.
A top case is an option for that, but I have...
I love the tach on there.
I wonder if my buddy could 3d print a bracket that would hold an aftermarket tach.
I appreciate your experimentation and I wish you the best of luck.
This type of stuff is the heart of motorcycling and hot ridding.
