Both of our 2019s prior to the Fuel Moto/PV treatment did not have this surging, so thankful for that. And pretty sure they didn't have "flat spots", but I'll wait until I hear from MacBayne to definitively state that. We did the tune to fix the cold start issue, the occasional self-blipping...

Would you please define for this layman what a flat spot is and how it manifests itself while riding.

Very pleased with my Corbin. It was a ride-in seat build so I was able to get it the way I wanted after multiple test-rides. That being said, not everyone has a Corbin compatible rear-end. Or Saddlemen, Sargent etc... for that matter.

Yes, I can see the hazard to rider if the brake light illuminates and remains on. I thought from reading the issue description (" According to the manufacturer, the affected motorcycles may have faults that could cause the bike’s brake lights to flash unexpectedly") that it was just a momentary...

I received an email from Indian yesterday regards this recall. Apparently it can occur that the rear brake light illuminates under certain conditions without actual brake application...

Did you use the OEM spring clamps or screw worm drive style? Reason I ask, that was the most difficult for me, keeping those clamps open while manhandling the junction over its three connections.

To what specs was the seat built? Higher/lower than OEM? Wider? Foam harder/softer than OEM? Fix slope to tank? Leather or vinyl? Thx

I wish the Internet was around 30 years ago. Then I would have known how shitty all my bikes were.
