Where did you ride your FTR today?

Lake Rotoiti. Just down the road from where I live now. She's fertile country around these parts. That visor was clean before the 66km ride to the lake!

Let's see your bike at your pub!

My bike in front of MY pub! The establishment here has been licensed continually since 1856 with the existing tavern built in 1880. My partner and I will be the latest in a long history of owners.

    Air intake snorkels

This! And I've experimented on other bikes using a dyno, all the maths worked out, dead on.

Let's see your bike at your pub!

I know that pub! In three more weeks I'll have a photo from outside or maybe inside MY pub, watch this space!

Watch out for the stock chain.

It was so long ago I saw that I can't remember, it was something along that line of exotica. The double row chain is irrelevant if the sprocket bolts are loose though!

Watch out for the stock chain.

I found a possible solution to the OPs woes...

    TIDY TAIL OR NOT?

The water from the rear tyre will hit you. I found out the other day that (without the stock plate holder and guard) that the water hits you in the back of the head and when you look down at the dash it hits the back of your neck and runs down inside your jacket💩

    MotoGP

So what are the predictions for Mandalika folks? Will 'The Beast' back up his Qatar triumph? Will Marquez figure out the new friendly Honda and disappear? Is the track going to stay intact or will riders need flak jackets to survive the weekend? All bets are off on this one, I can't wait!

    FTR championship edition

I like that paintjob but they stole my thunder! I was going to copy the 21 FTR750 factory scheme for my airbox covers but now it'll look like I'm copying them copying their own bike🤦‍♂️ 100% ploy to get rid of excess 19 and 18 inch wheels as alluded to above. It does look cool though, if only I...

New FTR owner New Jersey, USA

You already have a lot of good stuff and your plans are sweet. Beyond that save money for rear tyres;)

Where did you ride your FTR today?

So 1/8th throttle will then become gratuitous??😬

Where did you ride your FTR today?

Low fuel warning came on at about 180km, so just short of 40km to empty. This section of the ride was fairly sedate so I wouldn't expect to get any further than that. I can normally get to 200 before the low fuel warning but only when commuting and concentrating on being gentle.

Where did you ride your FTR today?

Took advantage of a sunny Saturday to go do some skids out in the Wairarapa with my girl. 376km and our first time to Flat point. I used the chance to bolt up the Rotopax and run the FTR tank dry, at 217km it coughed so I stopped and used the 7.2 litre reserve to get moving again. I'm happy...

    2022 FTR Owner Report

It's the sender units in the tanks that are on a hiding to nothing. Unlike cars that have relatively flat bottomed regular profile fuel tanks that stay on the same plane. Bikes have all sorts of funny shapes, the FTR especially.

    2022 FTR Owner Report

The range indicator is super unreliable and fickle, all motorcycle fuel gauges are in my opinion. Just set a trip meter and use that, it's far more consistent. The cold thing is what it is, you just have to be patient, even with the V5 tune mine is grumpy until it's up to temp. But do get it...

PowerVision3 vs lloydz tune? or both?

Pretty sure the PV3 option doesn't work with 22s (I'm open to correction there) so send that ECU in and prepare to say "I wished I did that sooner". And to clarify the PV3 is the tool you use (amongst other functions) to flash up to V5 tunes from anywhere, including Lloyd's into '19 models...

    2022 FTR Owner Report

There's something not right there, my tuned 19 will get that distance when I wring it's neck and I mean really get up the thing. My untuned one will go 200km commuting consistently which is a mix of nana and nana plus 50% throttle (the pretty ladies present minimum setting).

    Bridgestone A41

All the way through man, all but touching the handlebar. I'll be happy enough with the A41 otherwise it's an adjustable length rear shock and more rear ride height.

Pecco, Fabulous, Martin for the podium. Of course these new Hondas and that blind guy with one working arm might spoil the party. Zarco will get a long lap penalty. Let's see who gets some of those references.
