Did you have a wish list?

The electric motorcycles are indeed interesting with their no-gas-no-oil concept. You still need to be prepared for extra power and errors when you go on a trip. That part isn't much different, but the rest will probably be a whole new experience that it may not be biking anymore.

Your thoughts on helmets and other essential safety gear

@Merrick Sena 20S Bluetooth system is one name people seem to really like. You can't connect to that many people, but I think you mostly use it for solo travel anyway. I read some articles on helmets which were planning to integrate the Bluetooth system so you don't need to buy a separate...

Did you have a wish list?

We are still waiting on our FTR 1200 (S) or dreaming about it, but what was your goal before FTR 1200 came along? Triumph Bonneville Bobber was one that I remember the most. Reviewers made nice comments about it, and the style was just perfect for my taste.

What Will Be/Is Sitting Next To Your FTR As A Stablemate.

By the time I get my hands on the FTR 1200 S, I don't think my Yamaha YZF-R3 will be around to see it. The new boy will have to get along with my Carrera Subway then. I used to be a big fan of cycling; I still am, just not as crazy as before.

Your thoughts on helmets and other essential safety gear

I try to look for helmets which can also cover my eyes well, so I don't need to invest in too many items. Shoei Neotec and AGV are what people often recommend to me. Gloves, boots, and jackets are also nice to have. Are you looking for some specific features?

    Emergency braking

It's a bit of interesting advice for sure. I've had people told me to always test the limits of my brakes, especially as I get more comfortable with high speed. Knox, if only someone could test it for us so we know how often we could practice before trusting our instinct!

    Are the collections worth it?

It does seem like even the collections are still open to further customizations, so maybe that's where the dealers will come in. I'll just take these collections as checkpoints of what kind of build I'm aiming for and add more items from there. It's nice to see so many options and that the...

    FTR 1200 v. FTR 1200 S

@K9F The article I saw was a review of the bike by a professional, so I guess he pushed the thing to the limit in various situations. I also prefer to stick to the original manufacturers unless the differences are major. I don't want to think about compatibility issues or such.

    Are the collections worth it?

I'm a little confused with these so-called collections (Tracker, Sport, Rally, and Tour). It doesn't look like they are sold as a packaged product, but more as inspirations for us to customize our bikes. Am I getting it wrong? Which collection do you think is the best out of the four?

    FTR 1200 v. FTR 1200 S

The S version is so eye-catching! Watching the boy in red, black, and gold finish actually runs on some YouTube videos is impressive. Then I read further and saw a comment about the rear tire wearing out rather quickly, so I'm back to thinking mode for now.
