Hi all!

Been a longtime lurker on the forum, but finally managed to sell my Harley last week and bought my first ftr now! It's a 2020 base model which I'll pick up this weekend.

Had a fully built Dyna that was setup for comfort and speed, but it still felt like riding a dinosaur. The ftr will most likely fix that feeling for me!

Quick question, I already ordered some parts to mount on it this weekend such as the Gilles rearsets and I read it's best to mount a gsxr shift arm with it. Does anybody have a EU link to the correct shifter by any chance?

Thanks in advance!

Ps: quick last pic of my Dyna before it was sold

This is the one I got. They do ship to Europe by the looks of it. Don’t expect anything crazy, it just makes the shifts feel a tad “clicky” which is nice. Takes up some of the slack in the shifter causing fewer missed shifts/false neutral if you have that issue. Cheap easy five minute mod. You’ll enjoy the FTR

Thank you very much! I'm used to the clunky sound from the Harley, but since I'm doing all the mods now before riding season starts, I thought why not do it properly from the first go.

I'll be ordering the shifter today, thanks!

Hi all, thought I'd share a little update here. Nothing too fancy, but a little progress so far. Linkpipe, exhaust and tune are next up. Perhaps a Tank Machine headlight too 😇

Installed:
-Motoism turn signals front and rear
-Renthal moto grips
-Rizoma mirrors
-S&S engine module
-Raximo levers
-Heinz bikes side number plate
-Gilles rearsets
-GSXR shift linkage

Thought I'd post a little update. Been riding the bike since march and absolutely love it, it just puts a smile on my face everytime I ride it!

Just received my set of 17" wheels that I will put on during winter time. Now time to start looking for tires, sprocket and new discs for the wheels. I'm even thinking of keeping the silver colour to replicate the Ducati wsbk bikes a little bit 😄

I would keep the silver. You can swap your old rotors and sprocket over.

You will also need a new front fender or make some drop brackets.

@ferraiolo1 yes the silver will stay that's for sure! I've seen your video about the swap a few times now already and it's really helpfull. Thanks to that I will go with the Bridgestone S23 in a 190-55-17.

I will swap the sprocket over and try the standard gearing for the time being. But since it's a separate set I was thinking of going with Galfer discs on the new wheels as a Christmas gift to myself.

That’s what it looks like. I did the same but in black. Was sad to see the made in China stamp on the wheels. Would’ve thought Indian would do better 🤔😂
Indian has been making the wheels in China since the 2019 FTR.

99% of every cast wheel made for every bike and car is made in china. If you want merican you have to go to a billet or forged wheel. Smt is American and makes 17s for the ftr. I have them in my challenger.
