I spend a lot of time in PA as well since I’m about an hour from the border. WV has beautiful roads as well, but if you like a challenge, come ride the triple nickel. There are many other good roads in that area. Stay the night in Zanesville and explore. And look me up, I’m now broken in and ready to fly!

I love your area as well! I was hoping to come out that way and play in 3 weeks or so, but it looks like work has other ideas. I might get 4-5 days to "get lost" but not the 14 I was hoping for.

I visited my dealership today (Pitt Cycles). They just recieved their first FTR Carbon. (It is currently still available if anyone is interested.) After taking a close look and sitting on the bike my immediate first impression was very positive. It is a very good looking bike. The seating postion is definitely lower than my 2019 FTR-RR. Here are some of the pictures I took. The rear wheel assembly, brake and ABS rotor looked very similar to my FTR. Without a tape measure I have no way to tell if the swing arm is the same width on both bikes.

The dealership (Pitt Cycles) also received two more Chiefs. A Base Model and a Chief Dark Horse. The Dark Horse sold immediately.

Curious mind wants to know how easy these red rim stripes come off. They just painted over the black powder coat?

Part number for the swingarm is the same between 2019 and 2022, #1025419-639

I just got home from traveling for work and took the bike in for it’s first service. I can take a better look when I get it back. I can look or take pictures on anything else you guys are interested in if you like.

If you want to meet up, just let me know. I just quit my job so I have more time to ride!
Just kidding, sort of. I am between jobs after today and took a few weeks off until I start the new one, so I will be doing a lot of riding.

Yes please (but may require you to scratch it with a nail, don't know if you want to do that :p )
Yeah, not gonna do that, but there should be a seam if it’s tape, brush marks or wavy if it’s paint, I can look to see if it was cleared over.

So the stripe appears painted, but perfectly so guessing a machine did it, no seams. It has been cleared over so no way to remove that I can tell without a repaint.

Managed to eek out 2700 miles out of the first rear tire, but the belts are about ready to show. You can actually see and feel indentations in the rubber where they are! There are no tires available in the states that I could find, ended up sourcing one from the UK for about $230 shipped. Will be here in a week. Didn't want to switch the front just yet and am pretty sure it will wear about the same as the second rear. Still loving the bike. Glad I sold my Diavel to get it. Here is a picture from when I got home yesterday.

Are you running oem pressure? thats crazy the tire died that fast.

Try t32s for your next set, cost the same as one of the oem rears.

well it's a 2022 so has the Metzeler Hypersport tyres on it.
awesome for corners, not the best for straight lines.
I usually get around 3500 out of the hypersport on my Honda though so 2700 seems a little low.

Stock pressures, does the Honda put out the same amount of torque? At any rate, I’m a little aggressive on the throttle. My next pair will be something comparable, probably a Michelin 5. Some of my riding is straight line highway to get to where the good riding is, hence the middle is worn out.
