Another FTR in SoCal

Hi everybody,

Finally decided to register here even though I've had mine for almost 4 years at this point. Been looking up info on updating my '19 to running 17" wheels and decided the least I can do is sign up here and give thanks to @ferraiolo1 and @Max Kool (and others) for the info they've posted up.

Still mostly stock; will hopefully be updating the wheels later this year:

I'm in Pasadena so my usual routes are Angeles and Glendora Mountain Road. Should definitely head over to your area at some point though.

Yeah Angeles Crest and GMR are probably also colder this time of year.

Yeah GMR was kinda chilly yesterday. Was thinking about heading out again today but these stock tires aren't very confidence-inspiring.

Hey where did you order your 17" wheels from? The dealer I got my FTR from won't let me order a set, so I'm probably gonna just go with one of the online oem parts dealers.

I ordered online, directly from Indian Motorcycle.

Your dealer won’t let you order a set? He won’t take responsibility for the changed wheel dimensions, something like that?

He didn't even give a reason other than "I can't order those". Indian Orange County.

Also quoted me 800-1k for a new set of tires + install. I just laughed.
