Better tires?

If you've changed from the original tires on the 19 front and 18 rear what did you go with? Make and model? Looking for something little grippier. Hard to find tires in this size though

Move to a 160 rear and most sport touring tires fit.

I prefer Bridgestone t31 or t32

When i looked before i was having a hard time finding the stock size or at least one the same diameter but ill check those out. What did you get 160/??r18

If you want to stay with the stock sizes, Pirelli Scorpion Trail IIs and Continental Trail Attack 3s have some great reviews. Check out the "other" FTR forum.

I am currently running Bridgestone Battlax A41 (90/10) tires. Handling, performance and wear is much better than the stock DT3 tire. They are available in the exact size as the stock tires.

I just got a set of RA3’s, but the TA3’s look identical. Does anyone know what the difference is, just compound selection? I have no doubt they are both great, just a curiosity.

Profile between RA3 and TA3 is slightly different, and I wouldn't be surprised if the TA3's profile is slightly deeper making a bit more noise. I think the differences between the two are small. They offer the same technologies...
