Can we change the oil and oil filter at 800kms and not void the warranty?

Hi guys I’m from South Australia. After watched the official ftr1200 oil change video from Indian’s YouTube channel,thought it’s the easiest oil and oil filter change of any sorts of bikes which is awesome. Just thinking buy a oil change pack from Indian’s website and do it my self by saving $300 aud labour. Will this void warranty? Thanks in advance.

In general: No. Just keep the receipt as proof. Many owners did the same.

I actually keep a maintenance log on the Indian website.

Oil and Filter change can be done on your own but there are some other checks at the 500 mile service.

it’s more than just an oil change. If you’re used to do daily maintenance on a bike this list shouldn’t look hard.

I ordered my oils yesterday from my dealer, received them today. I'll be changing oil and filter next week 👍 can't wait to reset my oil life over due, on the screen!

hey just saying howdy cause i'm from Adelaide!
I got my first service done at the dealer but that's cause I also got the circuit breaker recall and an issue with my gear lever fixed all at once.
