Clutch snap

Hi All
Can anyone advise me if they too have a snappy clutch I have a carbon R and find the clutch a bit snappy on bite it’s not what I would call smooth is it a characteristic of the FTR, mine is new and still breaking in does it get better after break in?

It is a slipper clutch. But make sure your clutch lever free play is properly adjusted.
