You can have your dealer open a case with Polaris to try and get it half covered. I have seen than happen before
Things break. That’s why you can buy an extended warranty.
Is this a common issue? My FTR just outside of normal warranty...
Happens with outside stored/garaged bikes (only)?
Happens in extreme hot/dry areas.... like Nevada, etc. (only)?
Are most of you having the protection film on (Not related to this failure topic but just asking here)?

I live in Aus in a location where it gets up to 45 Celsius in summer.
I store my FTR outside but under a car port.
When I ride to work, it's stored uncovered.
I haven't had this issue at all, yes I have the protective cover on
maybe it's still to come and I don't know yet. Who knows.
You can find on amazon or else (aliexpress...) protective films for the FTR dashboard. Much like those for mobile phones.
Clear precut to size and shape cleat adhesive film.

Indian issued a plastic film cover for the 2019 models to help protect against screen delamination.
they improved the design of the screen on later models.
but a lot of people still stick them on anyway.
doesn't affect how the screen responds.
