Did anyone take a ride today? It was “spring like” in Western, PA...

The temperature hit 64*F in Pittsburgh, PA today. I went for a 2 hour ride in the rolling hills of Western, PA with my son-in-laws. It always feels special to get the bikes out in the winter months when most days are not riding days. We saw a ton of bikes on the roads today. Everyone is eager to ride. My son-in-law Matt rides a Yamaha FJ 09 and the other Jameson rides a 2019 Yamaha MT 09. (an argument can be made the MT09 qualifies as a super naked) Here are some pics today as we get ready to go!

I wanted to (it hit 62F here today in the Milwaukee area), but I just bought my FTR 1200 yesterday, and I need to get my insurance switched over to it. :( My apartment building is located alongside of I-894, and I heard quite a few motorcycles go past on the freeway (the last one was just a few minutes ago). Of course as is typical for where I live, most of them were Harleys.

Yeah I did, I got sweaty so took my boots of then paddled in the ocean. Rode home testing out my ergonomic and suspension changes courtesy of Dave Moss then sat in the evening sun with a beer, life is grand!

Rained most of the afternoon here today, but the two days before were mid-60's so I got a few hundred miles of riding in. Yesterday was a little windy but I had a blast riding with my son and a few friends, we rode a couple passes through the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge and then up Mt. Scott before heading back to the house.
