Front Wheel Removal

Does anyone know the size of the inner hex on the hollow front hollow axle? What is the correct tool required to remove the axle and what is the proper name for that tool? I would like to purchase the tool and add it to my collection.

I forget the exact size. But always nice to have one of these around as it fits a few different axles.

The back side of a spark plug socket also works on the ftr. You just push in an extension from the opposite side

I am not sure off the top of my head what size it is, but I always use the motion pro axle tool. Then you always have the right size. It goes on a 3/8 drive socket wrench. But I've seen people use the head of a bolt and such. I just prefer to have the correct tool around myself.

It is a 22mm hex that I was able to find at Home Depot (as part of a kit I wanted anyways).
