Groms to FTR's

My girlfriend was the reason I found the FTR. She took me out on a test ride and I instantly loved it. We both recently just bought FTR's so here are some pics.

Who else here has a Grom? What are your other bikes?

I've got a Grom, but it doesn't get ridden much anymore unless the wife gets the itch. Was my son's daily rider but he recently upgraded to a 2016 Yamaha FZ-07.

Agree, great patio Max, (y)

Unruly Rider will undoubtedly be in the market for some new rubber soon if he hasn't bought already I see.

Looks like there was more than one ”Smokey Burnout” on that tire!
Yeah, I picked up some Bridgestone A41's last week, just gotta get them mounted up. Only one really smokey burnout, SoOoOo many hard accelerations from stop, and a few wheelies, just over 5k miles on the stock rear. Not too bad for the stock rubber, but definitely anxious to get the new tires mounted.

Yep, i have 2500 miles on them, they are a little loud, but MUCH better than oem tires.

Right now on rockymountainAtv you can get a set, shipped for $200 after a $60 rebate.

Tnx! waiting for good weather still. This is a cold week... :(

Tell me about it! The only time it's supposed to get even in the 50s, is this Thursday, when it's supposed to rain, and then......wait for it....... rain mixed with snow and a high of 35F on Friday. The weekend is a wash, with temps between the low 30s and 40F. Such is life in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin. Though it's a bit on the cold side for me, I'm debating going for a quickie ride after work today, when it's supposed to be a balmy 47F! :D

March into mid April has schitzophrenic weather in this part of the US. I hope the temps don't oscillate too wildly - if that happens, I have a real risk of my cluster headaches starting up again. NO FUN!!

good eye!! 1998 Honda Hornet 600. Customised to buggary lol

I thought so. I see them in my neck of the woods on occasion, though nowadays they no longer have the high pipes. I briefly contemplated buying one being sold as a leftover 2017 model at a local dealer, but I've gotten kind of spoiled by the added low end power that larger displacement bikes (like my previous BMW R1200R) have, and I've also found that I have a preference for twins. :)

I've had the Hornet for 13 years now, it's the bike I got when I got off my learners. Absolutely love it, it's a blast to ride and so light through the twisties it's awesome.
the FTR is the only other bike i've owned other than my CB250 haha.
i love them both for different reasons, and will be keeping both. it's a ripper bike.
