I actually used the stock bolts (shortened the top ones). They have a standoff so you can’t squash the fender.

Oh btw, install them upside down and you could maybe fit a 21" front wheel underneath. Knobby tires, taller seat, add an inch rear ride height, lower pegs....

(Yes, I just had an offroad weekend, 4 wheels however)

I have a set heading out to North Dakota to try on a 17in wheel conversion. It lowers the fender much more than 12mm.

It my finger math is correct it should be good to go for those wanting to run 17s in the near future
