Hello all, names Tyler! Just want to preface this by saying i didnt even know the FTR was a thing. Literally 2 weeks ago i started looking at bikes at my local motorcycle dealer and they had a 19 for sale. Decided to look at new ones 50+ miles away at the nearest Indian dealer and came home with one the same day. My last bike was a Yamaha FZ09, but I took a little brake from riding with the 1st kid on the the way. The FZ09 was fun and torquey and the 3 cylinder sounded amazing with the carbon Akrapovic exhaust. The FTR I purchased came with the Akrapovic high mounts and to me it sounds right in the middle of the fz09 and a classic v twin. I absolutely love it. (Can't wait to remove the baffles and eventually the muffler to really hear it shine). Have a new rage cycle fender eliminator and front turns waiting to be put on, just have to wait for a rainy day so I'm not riding the bike!
New to Indian. Excited about it.

Glad you decided to try Indian.
It's a good bike. A bit heavy, but a lot of fun.
The only negative for me is the seat...and maybe super small fuel tank.
I have a '19 and have been doing a fair amount of gravel/dirt back roads as well as some excellent asphalt.
Your bike looks great. You'll get plenty of attention riding that, lol!
