Ordered the Indian Oil Change kit.

So I had some Loyalty points to use, so I ordered my First Oil Change kit from Indian.
I saw the weight of the Oil and it's 15W60.
Wow, that is some thick stuff. That's like straight STP. Remember that stuff.
That is wild as it is a Water Cooled Engine.
Hopefully the clearances are not super loose from the factory.
I have had Air Cooled V Twins that only ran 10W50. Just an observation.
Love the bike, but only have 180 miles on it. Winter time sucks.

It’s the same oil they have ran in the scouts for years as well as the new challangers.

They still have the "old school" oil kits on sale for 50% off. TBH....I'm not even sure it's a better overall savings.

I got those exact ones for 50% AND 50 dollars off due to a discount code. Paid 62 bucks for 8 quarts inc tax and shipping. Twice.

There was a seller on eBay that was selling two four packs of the tin cans for $50 and free shipping. I bought 16 quarts and after I thought about I picked up anther 16.
They go fast with three Indians in the garage.

The last time I went to Pitt Cycles for a FTR oil change kit I came home with a new 2021 Vintage!
