How can you remove the cats?

My belief is this is a racing exhaust which does not come with cat.

According to the S &S website's description it has cats. It's the Grand National 2 in 2.

They made two versions. One for race bikes and one with cats. I don’t believe you can remove the cats from them.

you wouldn’t gain anything but weight savings anyway

I'm not thinking about weight savings but was hoping the exhaust would be a bit cooler.

the cats cannot be removed without destroying the exhaust. I have this exhaust. I think its weld inside

I removed the cats on my exhaust mate, just take off the end caps, remove the baffles (which unfortunately removes all the exhaust packing) then I just used a bi-metal hole saw to drill them out. Needed an extension bar for the drill as their both quite far down but not a massive job at all. Helps a lot with the heat, that’s the main reason I did it for.

Thanks, lowering heat is the reason I'd like to remove the cat.
