Surface temperature S&S exhaust?

Does anybody knows the surface temperatur from the S&S slip-on exhaust in using?

I don´t like the colour too much and think about to make a black powder coating.

Powder coating is resistant for max temperatures 220°C.

Did u mean the single shot? .. never measure something
If you think about.. Menze (Hagen, Germany) is one who take care of and near by.

You need to have them ceramic coated, exhausts are way too hot for powder coating.

That is what Fuse5 's link is about ;-) They do ceramic coating for exhaust parts that resists up to 1000 degrees Celsius.

I´ll check Menze / Hagen and Yes, I mean the single shot.
I remember from my Kawasaki exhaust that ceramic coating will cost minimum 300 Euro :-(

@Helge .. talk to them they do powder as well
another company which doing exaust systems called MBT at Moers
(somebody out the neighbourhood did it there on his BMW 9t and after 3 years perfect)
