Cat delete pipe

Hi Guys anyone know the torque setting for the exhaust claps I have fitted the S&S pipe with the Thomas Kopp cat pipe.

Tight is tight, and shouldn't be more than 15-20Nm imho. It just needs to seat and seal.

Just feel what you're doing, and you should be good.

(tbh I never use a torque wrench on nuts like these)

I bought a cat delete pipe with a cat in it so I hopefully wont have to go with the Ryan's setup.

I think you do. You're still changing the flow characteristics of the exhaust system.

(think of it as a trombone, you have removed a large diameter loop from the system)

I think Thomas Kapp still recommends the tune but chat to him about that

I bought the Akropovic titanium header and it came with the link pipe. I mated it up to the S&S slip on which outperformed all other slip on s on the dyno by 1 to 2 HP plus it looks great. Now just waiting on my ECU to come back from Ryan's bench tune. I had the secret sauce map which helped a bunch but I still got the occasional flameout which can be dangerous if it happens at the wrong time,.
